Description

I am very thankful that I had the opportunity to process and present the Chamaeleon Molecular Cloud Complex III, this region is rarely imaged as it is located far south at RA 12 36’ and Dec -79 56’ in the constellation of Chamaeleon. It is south even for Chile!
The Molecular Cloud Complex presents a gorgeous array of cosmic dust and small reflection nebulae, and I really enjoyed processing this amazing region!

A molecular cloud is an interstellar cloud of gas and dust in which molecules can form, the most common of which is hydrogen.Imaged in LRGB on the  Planewave DR 350 at Observatorio El Sauce, Chile.Image Acquisition and Prerocessing: Mike Selby

Processed by me using Pixinsight and Photoshop. I decided to not tame the bright star on the right since it enhanced and lit up the rest of the image, and balanced it out.
